"Precious metals have had value in all civilizations, have survived all financial crises, and can be expected to do the same in the future.       However, it is to all investors' interests that they know what they are doing before investing in precious metals."

CMI strives to avoid hype while attempting to provide honest market evaluations; we recommend only those precious metals investments that we believe will benefit our clients.  CMI suggests investors avoid overpriced, highly-promoted numismatic coins whose gold content are worth but a fraction of their prices.  CMI promises low prices, prompt delivery, and confidential transactions.  We do not offer storage. not offer storage.

Other Ox Years are 1985, 1973, 1961, 1949, 1937, 1925, 1913, and 1901.The Year of the Ox is the second coin in the Perth Mint's Lunar Series.  Consistent with its policy, the Perth Mint has not disclosed how many Oxs have been minted so far. However, legislation authorizing the Lunar Series coins permits them to be produced until the 30,000 cap is reached.

The popularity of the Lunar Series is growing, as evidenced by the Year 2000 Dragon having reached the 30,000 limit. CMI anticipates-with a precious metals bull market-that the Ox and the earlier coins of the Series will sell out before the final coins of the Series are produced.

As a rule, the Snakes and Horses have the smallest markups over spot, followed by the Mouse, the Ox, the Tiger, and the Rabbit. The Dragon, available only in the secondary market, has the highest premium.

Persons born in the Year of the Ox are patient and taciturn. Yet, when they speak, they can be quite eloquent. Generally easy going, Ox people can be stubborn. They hate to fail or be opposed.

Other Ox Years include 1985, 1973, 1961, 1949, 1937, 1925, 1913, and 1901.
